Circa 2000. I agreed to do a modeling shoot for a Columbus area modeling and portfolio photographer. My son Alex was doing some modeling for a local department store's flier during this time so I figured, why the not? Nothing much came out of my portfolio because they wanted a large sum of money (from me) to get my pictures "out there" for companies to see and I opted out of that. It was fun nonetheless. I did get a gig with the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) as a result of my photos and was featured in their publication "Momentum" Magazine and my face and store was used in movie previews at cinemas and on the OBN website for nurse recruitment. It's hard to believe this was 16 years ago already. All four of my kids got to also be part of the shoot!
